The Year of The Red Fire Monkey – February 8, 2016 – January 27, 2017

Welcome to the New Year! For those of you who don’t follow the Chinese calendar, let me give you a brief primer:

Each Chinese New Year is characterized by one of 12 animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac. The Chinese zodiac is divided into 12 blocks (or houses) just like its western counterpart, but with the major difference being that each house has a time-length of one year instead of one month. The monkey is the ninth animal in the cycle and will not come around again until 2028.

This time of year marks the beginning of the Spring Festival and lasts until the beginning of the Lantern Festival. To learn more about Chinese New Year and the Year of the Monkey, I recommend visiting this site.

As the New Moon rings in a New Year, it may be a good time to get some clarity on what this year may hold in terms of relationships or self-improvement. Check out our Soul-Path service for more information on what we offer.

To your health and happiness!
