This is so true. By following our own leanings, we are capable of living and loving our best life.

What stands in our way?

Sometimes it’s the Poisonous Playmates but, sometimes, it is our Self. By uncovering our own blocks to happiness, we can turn off the flow of poisonous playmates and forge healthier, happier relationships.

Good relationships can lead to lower stress, better blood pressure, healthier hearts and long lives.

Poor or stress-filled relationships can raise blood pressure, put strain on hearts and shorten life expectancy.

Unfortunately, we spend a fair amount of time in poor relationships. A pattern begins begins to follow-us and we engage in the same type of relationship over and over again.

Why do we get into poor relationship patterns?

There is not a simple answer for this but the root cause is the story we believe about our Self. We have a script for relationships and we play the role that we design.

We tell ourselves a story that may paint us as unworthy or lacking in something so we draw to us people who validate that story.

We settle for less because we think we deserve less. So our cycle continues.
